41^st Foundation Anniversary of MMSU

We joined 41^st Foundation Anniversary of MMSU with a theme: “Glocalizing to ACHIEVE”, PRAISE Awarding Ceremony. This event was held in Teatro Ilocandia at 8-10 am We went there by walking at 7.30 am, because the location is near from MMSU Mansion.

This is one of the biggest event in MMSU and after this program, MMSU had another program such as Parambak Ditoy Talon, Pammigbig ken Pammadayaw and Students Day. In this event, we saw some of the traditional song and dance from the Philippines and it is very interesting and entertaining us.

We also witness some awardings for the teachers, students, staff, and the colleges. Wherein, it will motivate them more and enhance their talents or skils.

This is some of the results in the PRAISE Awarding Ceremony :

PARAMBAK DITOY TALON

Mariano Marcos State University has 6 campuses, one of the campus is located in Dingras. Dingras Campus is for College of Agriculture, Food and Sustainable Development and this campus has wide field also. In this day, we were invited to attend Parambak Ditoy Talon at 7 am in Dingras.

This event was held as a series of MMSU 41^st Foundation Anniversary. The kalachuchi plant as the endemic plant from Dingras is introduced to us. We start the event by planting kalachuchi plant together. Launching of MMSU Dingras as Kalachuchi Campus and launching of the President’s model farm.

After that, we saw one of the organic vegetable product like Ilocos Kornik which does not contain chemicals. The event was ended by having lunch together and we arrived back to MMSU Mansion at 1 pm by the MMSU bus.

PAMMIGBIG KEN PAMMADAYAW

Monday, January 28^th, 2019

Pammigbig ken Pammadayaw is a part of MMSU 41^st Foundation Anniversary. We were invited in this event at 8-11 pm in Teatro Ilocandia. It was set like a candle light dinner with beautiful decoration. The committee prepared Filipino food for the guests and it is very masarap (delicious).

After that, the President of MMSU gave her speech and award for MMSU alumni. The MMSU alumni also inspired us to be a successful person. It was a wonderful night, we were singing and dancing together. Honestly, that was my first time to dance a Filipino dance and I’m really happy.

STUDENT’S DAY

Wednesday, January 30^th ,2019

This is the peak of every event in MMSU 41^st Foundation Anniversary, the student’s day started at 8 am until 5 pm held at Teatro Ilocandia, MMSU Covered Court and MMSU oval. In the morning, the President of MMSU gave an awarding for the students.

Our beloved buddies, Charie and Liza accompany us and we decided to stay at the balcony of Teatro Ilocandia to watch the awarding.

In the afternoon, we are celebrating the student’s day like “Day with the President”. After that, we played games, such as Paay-ayam, catch the dragon tail, break the balloon, catch the pinky pig, and we eat together on the boodle fight.

During the student’s day, our beloved buddies (Charie and Liza) accompany us and while we are playing games, they are taking pictures and videos for documentation purposes.

We are exhausted and we lose some of the games, but it’s okay because we enjoyed every moments in the Philippines, yippyyy!!

We also invited our buddies to watch our performance tonight, but they decided to go home early because they need to accomplish their school works for tomorrow.
