Integrated to the University were the college of departments of the Ilocos Norte Agricultural College (INAC) in Pasuquin and the Ilocos Norte College of Arts Trades (INCAT) in Laoag City.
The University main campus of about 300 hectares is located in Batac, while the other campuses are in Laoag, Currimao, Dingras and Paoay. At present, it has 11 academic units :
-          Graduate School (GS)
-          College of Law (COL)

K to 12 Education Program Grading System
For grade 1 to 12 –in a grading period, there is one Quarterly Assesment, but three should be instances for students to produce. Written work and to demonstrate what they know and can do through Performance Tasks. There is no required number of Written Work and Performance Tasks, but these must spread out over the quarter and used to asses learners’ skills after each unit has been taught.

Steps in computing for the final grades :
Step 1 – Grades from all student work are added up. This results in the total score for each component, namely Writtern Work, Performance Tasks and Quarterly Assesment.
Step 2 – The sum for each component is converted to the Percentage score.
Percentages Score (PS) =
(Learner’s total raw score : Highest Possible Score) x 100%
Step 3 – Percentage Score are then converted to Weighted Scores to show the important of each component in promoting learning in the different subjects.
